Shank type Gear Shaper cutters
Shank type shaper cutters have cutting teeth on the diameter while other part as complete straight shank with morse taper, These shank shaper cutters are without any internal diameter (bore less) and are only designed to cut internal teeth of spur, helical, worm or involute gear where disc type shaping is not possible. These shaper cutters have high precision to give fine finishing form as per DIN, ACME, IS standards.
We design Shank type Gear Shaper cutters according to the Component or gear data offered by client for standard or non standard pitches for Involute gears,Splines, Spur gears, Helical gears, Chain sprockets pitch, Timing pulleys, Involute forms with pitch as micro 0.50 Module & as large as 25 module to cut internal teeth as per the component drawing offered, Morse taper ranging from MT1,MT2, MT3 is prefixed to install & hold the cutter.
We supply gear shaper cutters in Raw material HSS M35 or ASP30 which are most commonly used with respect to the hardness of gear (Rockwell / Brinell) to cut. Often times, there is huge number of gears of quantity which have to be cut by gear manufactures – we recommend them different types of raw material & surface PVD coatings 2-4 microns to have a smooth and better life of cutters
