Serration cutters are designed to cut serrations. Pitch ranging from 0.5 to 2.00 mm Serration angle varying from 25 deg, 30 deg, 45 deg, 60 deg, 90 degree Many automobile & industrial sectors have the job of generating serrations. We design serration gear hob cutters as per the component drawing supplied to us. These gear hobs are specifically only made as per client request since the standards and profile of cutting. These special hobs generate the correct tooth form at one level, so the accuracy has to be high.
As per client component speed and feed rate to its Hobbing machines, we do advise and recommend them different types of HSS raw material & surface PVD coatings 2-4 microns to have a smooth and better life of cutters.
